Joel S. Beckman, Managing Partner
Prior to founding Greenbriar, Mr. Beckman spent 18 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Managing Director and Partner. During his time there, he had extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, including equity and debt financings; mergers and acquisitions; leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations; lease, project and asset-based financings; and principal investments. He founded the firm’s global transportation business group in 1987, and was later responsible for a number of the firm’s largest corporate clients. In addition to his responsibilities in investment banking, Mr. Beckman held positions as worldwide head of the Goldman Sachs tax department, as well as head of the firm’s compliance and control activities. Mr. Beckman earned a BA from the University of Rochester and a JD from Yale Law School. He is a Director of American Tire Distributors, Inc., Grakon International, Inc., Hexcel Corporation, Stag-Parkway, Inc. and Western Peterbilt, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Rochester and the SteppingStone Day School for handicapped children.

Gerald Greenwald, Managing Partner
Mr. Greenwald has over 40 years of business experience, principally in the transportation industry. Prior to founding Greenbriar, Mr. Greenwald was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UAL Corporation, parent of United Airlines, Inc., for five years and served as Vice Chairman and in other positions at Chrysler Corporation from 1979 to 1990. Previously, he held a number of positions at Ford Motor Company, including President of Ford Venezuela and Director of Ford Europe. Mr. Greenwald has also held positions as President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Olympia & York and Managing Director of Dillon Read & Co., Inc., where he concentrated on private equity investments. He received a BA from Princeton University and an MA from Wayne State University. Mr. Greenwald is Non-Executive Chairman of Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc., a Director of Aetna Inc., Western Peterbilt, Inc. and The Aspen Institute, and a Trustee of the RAND Corporation Advisory Council.

Reginald L. Jones, III, Managing Partner
Prior to founding Greenbriar, Mr. Jones spent 13 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Managing Director and head of the global transportation business group in investment banking. During his time there, Mr. Jones had extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, including equity and debt financings; mergers and acquisitions; leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations; lease, project and asset-based financings; and principal investments. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked as a consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Jones earned a BA from Williams College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Jones is a Director of Active Aero Group, LLC, AmSafe Partners, Inc. and Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc., and is a board member of the Transportation Business Advisory Council at Northwestern University and the Intermodal Transportation Institute at the University of Denver. He also serves as a member of the governing boards of Trinity Church and Young Life of Greenwich and acts as a volunteer coach for Old Greenwich-Riverside Community Center youth soccer.

Raynard D. Benvenuti, Managing Director
Mr. Benvenuti began working with Greenbriar as an Advisory Director in 2007, and was named a Managing Director in 2008. Previously, Mr. Benvenuti was President and CEO of Stellex Aerostructures, Inc. a provider of major structural components and assemblies for commercial and military aircraft. Mr. Benvenuti orchestrated a major turnaround at Stellex, where he lead the company from bankruptcy to profitability and sale to GKN, plc. Prior to joining Stellex, he was the founder of Concord Investment Partners, a private investment firm specializing in middle market acquisitions of companies in turnaround situations. Earlier, Mr. Benvenuti was with Forstmann Little & Co. where he was active in managing several FL portfolio companies and helped complete four large acquisitions. Prior to Forstmann Little, he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he was responsible for several operational restructuring projects for industrial, telecommunications, and aerospace clients. Mr. Benvenuti holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, an M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. He is a Director of AmSafe Partners, Inc.

John Daileader, Managing Director
Mr. Daileader joined Greenbriar in 2002. He was previously a Principal at JPMorgan Partners where he worked in the Industrial Growth investment practice and was responsible for many of the firm’s investment activities in the automotive sector. Prior to joining JPMorgan Partners, Mr. Daileader held strategic planning positions at Chemical Bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and National Westminster Bank, USA. Mr. Daileader received a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a Director of Grakon International, Inc., Tinnerman Palnut Engineered Products, Inc. and Western Peterbilt, Inc.

Jill C. Raker, Managing Director
Ms. Raker joined Greenbriar in 2001. Previously, Ms. Raker spent four years as a Principal at Compass Partners International, LLC where she evaluated leveraged buyout opportunities for the firm’s private equity fund and advised clients on merger and acquisition situations. She also worked as an associate at The Blackstone Group L.P. and as an analyst at Salomon Brothers Inc. Ms. Raker received a BS from Boston College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Ms. Raker is a Director of Stag-Parkway, Inc.


Noah Roy, Managing Director
Mr. Roy joined Greenbriar in 2008 from Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was a Managing Director and served as head of the aerospace and defense sector within the Investment Banking Division. During his tenure at Goldman, Mr. Roy was an advisor to many of the company's most important clients and was involved in a number of Goldman's principal investments in the sector. He was also engaged in advisory activities in a number of transportation and related industrial sectors. Prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Roy worked at Rothschild Inc., focusing on merger and restructuring activities in the airline, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. from Georgetown University.

Mike Sprague, Advisory Director
Mr. Sprague began working with Greenbriar as an Advisory Director in 2006 and has been associated with Greenbriar since 2004. Previously, Mr. Sprague was President of the Americas division of Tibbett & Britten Group plc, a third-party logistics company, later acquired by Exel plc, supplying warehousing, distribution and supply chain management services under long-term contract to manufacturers, retailers and distributors of consumer merchandise. Under his leadership, the Americas division grew from $5 million to over $1 billion in revenues over a 12 year period. Earlier in his career, over a period of nearly 20 years, he held a number of general management and marketing positions with various divisions of Unilever N.V. in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia, working mainly with newly acquired or non-core industrial businesses to refine their strategy for growth and implement related organizational changes. During his time with Greenbriar, Mr. Sprague has been focused on integrating his operating expertise and experience into all phases of the investment process. Mr. Sprague earned BA and MA degrees from Oxford University, England. He is a Director of Stag-Parkway, Inc. and Western Peterbilt, Inc.

Arvind Krishnamurthy, Director
Mr. Krishnamurthy joined Greenbriar in 2008 from Veritas Capital Management, Inc. where he was engaged in private equity investment in the aerospace, defense and government services sectors. Before Veritas he worked as an Associate at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and Bain Capital, LLC and earlier as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Krishnamurthy graduated Magna Cum Laude with an A.B. from Harvard College and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christopher Laws, Principal
Mr. Laws joined Greenbriar in 2006 upon his graduation with an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Prior to business school, he was an associate at Blue Point Capital Partners, LLC and before that an analyst in Real Estate Private Equity and Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Laws earned a BA from Dartmouth College.

Michael Weiss, Principal
Mr. Weiss joined Greenbriar in 2004. Prior to joining Greenbriar, he worked in the Financial Sponsor and Leveraged Finance Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Weiss earned a BA from Duke University.

Rob Wolf, Principal
Mr. Wolf originally joined Greenbriar in 2003 as an Associate and returned to Greenbriar in 2007 after graduating from business school. Prior to joining Greenbriar, he worked at Citigroup Private Equity and before that in the Industrial Investment Banking Group at Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Wolf received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Niall McComiskey, Senior Associate
Mr. McComiskey joined Greenbriar in 2006. Prior to joining Greenbriar, he worked in the Transportation Group at HSH Nordbank AG. Prior to working at HSH, Mr. McComiskey was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank AG. He received a BA from Yale University.

Mohit Talwar, Associate
Mr. Talwar joined Greenbriar in 2007. Prior to joining Greenbriar, he worked in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Talwar received a BBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business, in Canada.
